Author Biography

David Marroquín-Chur

Bachelor’s degree in Literature from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, where he received the cum laude distinction for his undergraduate thesis. He has pursued doctoral studies in Human and Social Sciences at the Pontifical University of Salamanca. His professional experience has focused on scholarly publishing and science communication. He currently serves as a professional in Research Editing and Documentation at the General Directorate for Research (DIGI) of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. He is the founder and editor of the peer-reviewed journal Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades and the science communication blog Investigación para Todos, both published by DIGI-USAC. He also hosts the radio program Ciencia y Sociedad produced by DIGI-USAC. He is the author of the first edition of Cuaderno Pedagógico de Lenguaje, published by the Division of Academic Development of the General Directorate for Teaching of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala.
