GERMINACIÓN DE LAS SEMILLAS DE Pinus oocarpa Schiede UTILIZANDO RIEGO CON AGUA RESIDUAL SEDIMENTADA

As a result of uncontrolled urban and industrial growth, it has been serving and facing a serious health problem such as constant and massive increases in wastewater, so it is proposed to use it for watering tree nurseries. The aim of this study was to evaluate three types of water, used in irrigation and the production of seedlings of Pinus oocarpa in the nursery stage, in order to determine which of these shows better results in the germination. This research was developed at the plant for wastewater treatment “Ing. Arturo Pazos Sosa”, located in Colonia Aurora II Zone 13 of Guatemala City. The research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) by 3 treatments with 4 repetitions. After evaluated germination with the treatments, the best results were obtained by using irrigation with drinking water (Treatment 3).
