Régimen pluviométrico asociado a series de tiempo máximas en la subcuenca del río Villalobos

The Villalobos river sub-basin, which includes the upper part of the María Linda river basin, is in a constant process of urbanization, with effects on the behavior of the components of the hydrological cycle. In the sub-basin there are at least 5 meteorological stations which have records older than 30 years and of acceptable quality. There are various methodologies to evaluate meteorological monitoring networks, in this analysis the proposal by Fattorelli & Fernández (2011), based on the variability of the pluviometric module, was used. In the analysis, annual maximum daily rainfall series were used, from the INSIVUMEH and Swiss Contenta meteorological stations, since they were located in urban areas and in forested areas, respectively. By using the Hydrognomon and AFA software, the main properties of the series were analyzed, which were homogeneity, independence, trend, distribution, and variability. In the variability and trend analysis, significant differences stand out in the case of the INSIVUMEH meteorological station series. For events with return periods of 100 years, 140 and 250 were obtained, for the series of the Switzerland Contenta and INSIVUMEH stations, respectively, which denotes a significant difference.
