Abstract

For 46 consecutive months, the Covid-19 pandemic and the usurpation of the central campus of the Universidad de San Carlos forced the suspension of face-to-face classes. Digital tools were used to reform the teaching and learning process. The emerging actions generated improvisations and the decontextualization of the approach and concepts of university education. The author initiates a series to consolidate the adaptation to this reform, as unexpected as silent, through the Open University and Distance Education or Online Education.
