The article analyzes the epidemiological situation in the country and highlights how non-communicable chronic diseases impact both health and the economy of families and the public health system. It focuses on how these diseases share common risk factors and emphasizes the need for public policies aimed at reducing the prevalence of these risks. The article acknowledges that the
Food and Nutritional Security Policy (POLSAN) includes risk reduction and should be considered a ‘State Policy.’ In this regard, all state institutions must ensure that new laws, programs, norms, resources, and state efforts are directed toward its implementation. Additionally, it recognizes that the tenth legislative session has allowed for the discussion of laws such as the Comprehensive Cancer
Care Law and the Healthy Eating Promotion Law, whose approval would contribute to implementing two of the thematic axes within POLSAN and reducing the incidence of diseases that are currently affecting the population and undermining the economy of millions of Guatemalan families.

In the telecommunications market, customers are demanding with the services they hire, especially with the trend of number portability, which consists of users being able to switch to any company while keeping their same phone number with services at a lower cost (Palomino Figueroa, & Walde Ordoñez, 2016). Due to this trend; the availability of systems has a very important role
in customer satisfaction. With this premise, governance was implemented in a TELCO, validating an initial situation, managing to identify the problem that generated the lack of availability of systems through a quantitative and qualitative research. The results obtained by the application of governance, successfully exceed the KPIS thresholds established by TELCO's general direction and
IT management.

Watershed-to-Coast Marine Spatial Planning for Climate Adaptation in Central American Artisanal Fisheries.

In the Gulf of Fonseca, located in the Pacific Ocean west of Central America, El Salvador and Honduras are connected by the Goascorán River Basin. The Salvadoran and Honduran portions of the basin encompass 986.7 km² and 1731.98 km², respectively. This area, which harbors mangroves and supports livelihoods like fishing and subsistence agriculture, has been heavily impacted by extractive projects.
The climate outlook for the Gulf region is not promising. This study presents a predictive analysis of climate change impacts on the Goascorán River Basin, using extreme maximum temperatures and dry days as variables. The results indicate a potential increase of 1-2 degrees Celsius in temperature under a moderate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions scenario for the 2011-2090 period. Additionally, the basin could experience up to 300 days without rain (essentially 10 months per year). These findings should compel decision-makers, not only in El Salvador and Honduras but throughout Central America, to take action.
This document explores how marine spatial planning can be developed as a comprehensive binational public policy to achieve climate adaptation and resilience goals.
